Melike Erol-Kantarci is a postdoctoral fellow at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Ottawa, Canada. She received her master’s and doctoral degrees in computer engineering at Istanbul Technical University in Turkey. Her research interests are smart grid communications, cyber-physical systems, wireless sensor networks and underwater sensor networks.
A monthly publication, the IEEE Smart Grid Newsletter features practical and timely technical information and forward-looking commentary on smart grid developments and deployments around the world.
