Carl Imhoff

Carl ImhoffCarl Imhoff manages the electricity infrastructure market sector within Pacific Northwest National Laboratory's (PNNL) Energy and Environment Directorate. He is responsible for PNNL's research and development program in advanced power transmission reliability, demand response, renewables integration, policy and strategy for smart grid concepts, and crosscutting grid analytic tools in visualization and high performance computing. During his 30 years at PNNL, he also has been involved in a number of electric power system organizations including the North American SynchroPhasor Initiative, the GridWise Alliance, the Consortium for Electric Reliability Technology Solutions and the Western Electricity Coordinating Council. In 2011, he was appointed to the Consumer Advisory Council of the New York Independent System Operator.
