Bruno Sinopoli

Bruno SinopoliBruno Sinopoli received a doctorate in engineering from the University of Padua in 1998, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of California at Berkeley in 2003 and 2005 respectively. He did postdoctoral work at Stanford University and then joined the faculty at Carnegie Mellon University, where he is an associate professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering; he has courtesy appointments in Mechanical Engineering and in the Robotics Institute. He was awarded the 2006 Eli Jury Award for outstanding research achievement in the areas of systems, communications, control and signal processing at University of California at Berkeley, as well as the NSF CAREER Award in 2010.
