Doug Houseman

Doug HousemanDoug Houseman , an IEEE member, is the Vice Chairman of the Intelligent Grid Coordinating Committee, one of the authors of the IEEE Power and Energy Society’s GridVision 2050 and co-founder of IEEE’s DC@Home effort. He is Vice President of Technical Innovation for EnerNex in Knoxville, working on grid modernization efforts globally for customers. He graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and served in the U.S. Navy. He was the founder of the Smart Energy Alliance in 2001, the lead author of CEATI’s “Distribution Utility Technology Roadmap” and an author of Greentech Media's “Low Carbon Menu”.
