IEEE provides guidance on president’s energy review

The IEEE Power & Energy Society’s President-elect Damir Novosel discusses the IEEE’s efforts to respond to President Obama’s request for a Quadrennial Energy Review (QER). As a result, the U.S. Department of Energy asked IEEE to comment on seven critical areas of interest—from renewable energy to smart grid issues. Novosel provides a brief recap on the IEEE’s findings after the organization conducted an extensive look at all the issues outlined by the President.
