Did you know the electric power industry has a rating system in place to help consumers, policy makers and power suppliers make better and more informed decisions? It’s true. The Power Supply Performance Index (PSPI) is based on the Energy Efficiency and Environment category of the Performance Excellence in Electricity Renewal (PEER) system. The PEER system helps states better understand the environmental impacts of their power generation portfolio and how they are progressing towards renewable energy goals.
