Phasor Measurement Units Optimization in Smart Grids

Presented by: Priya Nitin Gokhale

This webinar will cover Phasor Measurement Units (PMU) optimization in Smart Grids, it is elaborated with artificial neural networks (ANN)

Learning Objectives:

  1. Understand features of PMU and its application
  2. Use of ANN for PMU optimization
  3. Proposed method for detection of phase angles at Vs and Vr where maximum power will flow

Conclusion: The results obtained from ANN model are compared with Electrical Transient Analyzer Program (ETAP). The predicted & targeted results become equal by training neural network. Deep neural networks can be used for complex networks and near real time applications.
